Homebase UK

Homebase is a UK home improvement retailer selling products for decorating, DIY, gardening and home furnishing. Its online shop covers paint, flooring, tools, furniture, kitchens, bathrooms and outdoor living, with products for projects ranging from small repairs to larger renovations.

Paint, Decorating and Flooring

Homebase stocks interior and exterior paint, wallpaper, brushes, rollers, adhesives and decorating accessories. Its flooring range includes options for different rooms, along with tiles and finishing products.

Check measurements, coverage and installation requirements before ordering materials for a project.

Garden, Landscaping and Outdoor Living

The garden department includes garden furniture, sheds, planters, landscaping materials, tools and outdoor lighting. Shoppers can also find products for patios, garden storage and seasonal outdoor projects.

Product availability varies by season, and bulky items may have specific delivery requirements.

Furniture, Kitchens and Bathrooms

Homebase sells furniture, storage, lighting and home accessories, alongside fitted kitchen units, worktops, sinks, bathroom furniture and fittings. Its kitchen range includes planning options for customers working on larger renovation projects.

Check product dimensions, installation requirements and service terms before placing an order for fitted products.

Tools, Building Supplies and Home Repairs

The online range includes hand tools, power tools, fixings, building hardware, plumbing supplies and electrical products. These items cater to maintenance jobs, DIY projects and general home improvement.

Read specifications carefully when choosing technical components, particularly products that must meet specific installation requirements.

Online Shopping, Delivery and Click & Collect

Homebase accepts online orders through its website, with standard, saver, next-day and supplier-direct delivery options. Standard delivery costs £5.99, saver delivery costs £4.99, and free delivery is available on eligible orders of £100 or more. Larger products may have higher charges, and delivery coverage varies by location.

Click & Collect is available on eligible products at participating collection locations. Some items are online-only or shipped directly by suppliers, so check the product listing and checkout details before ordering.

Returns and Refunds

For eligible online purchases, Homebase requires customers to notify it of a change-of-mind return within 14 days of receipt and return or arrange collection within a further 14 days. Items must be unused and in resaleable condition.

Exclusions include perishable goods, made-to-measure items and certain opened hygiene products. Unwanted kitchen orders shipped directly by suppliers incur a £50 collection charge. Check the current returns policy for the procedure that applies to your order.
